Summer Training Group (STG)

The Atlantic Diving Team's SUMMER TRAINING GROUP (STG) is an 9-week program running from June to July, designed for divers of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes. This program fosters a dynamic yet relaxed atmosphere where participants can master essential diving skills, explore competitive diving, and cultivate team spirit, all within a safe and enjoyable setting.

The STG is ideal for those looking to engage in a summer-only diving experience, with the option to transition into a year-round program upon the coach's recommendation after the summer concludes. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their techniques on both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards.

To Become STG Member:

• Registration will open in the final week of May.

• Athlete must register with AAU.
  AAU Membership (September 1 - August 31)
• All team communications will take place through the 360Player App, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
• All divers must register with Divelive and DiveMeets. Divers will submit their dive sheets to all competitions ADT attends.
• A one-time $10 registration fee is due at sign up to cover various administration costs for the summer.

Team Registration

To become a member of the Atlantic Diving Team, prospective divers must register with both USA Diving and AAU Diving. Additionally, it is essential to review and complete all necessary documents listed below. Please download the PDF registration form and ensure that all forms are filled out completely and signed.

STEP 1 - REQUIRED INSURANCE

All divers are required to be registered members of both USA Diving and AAU Diving, as these organizations provide essential secondary insurance coverage. This insurance applies to diving practices, encompassing both the dive well and dryland training facilities. It is important to note that this coverage activates only after any claims with your primary insurance and deductibles have been settled. For detailed information regarding specific coverage options, please refer to the descriptions provided by each organization.

AAU Membership

The Atlantic Diving Team is registered and insured through AAU (Amateur Athletic Union). To join our summer camp, participants must have an AAU Membership, which can be easily obtained online. It's important to note that this membership provides secondary insurance coverage, which activates only after your primary insurance and any deductibles have been settled.
