No worries, we are fully equipped to accommodate all skill levels. As long as your child is comfortable swimming in the deep end of the pool – we can teach them various techniques such as jumping, diving, and twisting.
For your first lesson, please bring a swimsuit and two towels. We may engage in running or dryland exercises, so it's advisable to wear running or athletic shoes. A soft towel is beneficial for stretching during our warm-up. In colder months, some divers prefer to wear a wetsuit for added warmth.
Yes, we do participate in diving activities during cold weather and rain. For those particularly chilly sessions, we provide hot showers and heated buckets to ensure comfort. However, please be aware that we do not dive in the presence of lightning.
No, sorry, no refunds are available.
Readiness is more crucial than age when it comes to diving. This readiness encompasses a child's confidence in deep water, their enjoyment of jumping from diving boards, and their willingness to explore new experiences. We have successfully coached children as young as 5 and have also worked with former gymnasts up to the age of 15. The optimal age range for diving is typically between 6 and 10 years old, as evidenced by the AAU and USA Diving competitions, where the youngest category is for those aged 9 and under. During our complimentary Free Try-Out session, we will perform an initial assessment and share our observations with the parents.
