The ATLANTIC DIVING TEAM is seeking a Part-time Assistant Coach with the potential to transition into a full-time coaching role.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of aspiring divers, starting as a part-time hourly role with the possibility of advancing to full-time based on performance and experience. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and there is potential for additional earnings as the club expands. The role requires travel to competitions and platform practice sessions, typically held on weekends, with travel expenses covered. While experience in pulling belts is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We are looking for a motivated, positive, and energetic individual to join our team.
An effective assistant coach needs strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, plus deep knowledge of our sport, and athlete development, focusing on supporting the head coach, building divers trust, and taking initiative to handle logistics, training, and strategy, all while maintaining a positive, growth-oriented mindset.
The Atlantic Diving Team prioritizes the safety of our athletes. All coaches are current with SafeSport training, and our program strictly follows the guidelines set forth by the US Center for SafeSport.
